Structural and Clear PC Choices

Decide whether the part is primarily a clear window, a loaded housing or an electrical enclosure. Those uses need different comparisons. A clear stock sheet is not a substitute for a flame-rated moulding compound, and a generic impact value does not establish the performance of a drilled or notched component.

Manufacturing and acceptance checks

State the exact grade, process and operating environment. Identify fastener loads, cleaners and critical surfaces. Approve a finished-part sample under the intended assembly conditions and distinguish dimensional, optical and fire-performance requirements in the acceptance plan.
