For an electrical enclosure, select the required rating and finished thickness before comparing materials. Do not assume that clear PC, a different colour or a PC/ABS blend inherits the same listing. A resin's evidence also does not replace assessment of the final assembly.

Manufacturing and acceptance checks

Request the exact grade, colour, listing and supplier documents. Mark minimum finished wall thickness and any areas altered by machining. Define traceability and process restrictions, then evaluate the completed enclosure against the applicable product requirements rather than relying on a family-level description.
