Blend Identity and Enclosure Trials

For a moulded enclosure, compare an identified blend with standard ABS and PC using the same geometry and test conditions. The blend name does not define its composition, flame rating or cosmetic performance. Do not infer a precise midpoint between the properties of the two base polymers.

Manufacturing and acceptance checks

Request the resin manufacturer, full grade and colour. Identify clip deflection, screw bosses, finish and operating temperature in the RFQ. Approve assembly and appearance on parts made with the intended tooling and process, and review any formulation change before production.
