3D Printing Resin: Choosing by Printed Function
Photopolymer printing resin is a category containing standard, tough, flexible and application-specific products. Material reference.
Choosing by Printed Function
Select the intended function before comparing a resin: visual model, loaded fixture, flexible prototype or a specifically qualified dental application. A label such as ABS-like describes a comparison, not ABS chemistry or identical long-term performance. The printer and curing route are part of the selection.
Manufacturing and acceptance checks
Request the full resin name and revision, compatible printer and post-processing instructions. Define critical surfaces, loads and exposure. Approve the washed and fully post-cured part, recording orientation and cure conditions so the production sample represents the process that was tested.
