Standard Resin: Visual Prototypes and Fit Checks
Standard resin is a supplier-defined photopolymer category rather than a single material formulation. Material reference.
Visual Prototypes and Fit Checks
For a visual prototype, prioritize surface detail, appearance and the fit being checked. Do not infer impact life or production suitability from a successful appearance model. If the part will repeatedly flex or carry load, compare an identified tough resin on that function.
Manufacturing and acceptance checks
Specify resin product, colour, printer and layer setting. Mark support-sensitive surfaces and define when dimensions are inspected after washing and curing. Approve appearance and fit on the completed prototype, and record whether the sample is for visual review, assembly verification or another explicitly defined test.

Reference and scope
Formlabs: photopolymer material categories and processing resources provides material or specification background. The checks above are purchasing guidance; final acceptance values must come from the agreed grade, product specification and condition.
Send a drawing and material requirements for review. Include quantity, critical dimensions and the inspection evidence required with delivery.
