Wear Guides and Creep Allowance

For a sliding guide, separate friction and wear requirements from stiffness and long-term deformation. A favourable wear description does not establish a tight, permanently loaded fit. Compare with POM-C or PA6 using the same counterface, load, speed and lubrication conditions.

Manufacturing and acceptance checks

Specify the exact stock grade, dimensions and any fillers or colour requirements. Include mounting clearance, temperature and expected load duration. Define wear limits and the geometry after loading, and test a representative guide with the intended mating surface rather than relying on an unrelated laboratory value.
