Titanium Grade 4: Strength-Focused CP Titanium
Grade 4 is a commercially pure titanium designation. Material reference.
Strength-Focused CP Titanium
When the drawing requires Grade 4, do not substitute an alloyed titanium grade merely to match a strength target. Review forming, joining, environment and the complete application specification. A commercially pure designation also does not establish approval for a medical device or other qualified product.
Manufacturing and acceptance checks
Request the exact stock specification and certificate. Define final mechanical acceptance and any critical surface requirements. For a thin feature or formed part, agree a manufacturing trial and inspect the final geometry; preserve the approved material identity and batch records throughout outsourced processing.

TIMET: titanium grade and product data sheets provides material or specification background. The checks above are purchasing guidance; final acceptance values must come from the agreed grade, product specification and condition.
Send a drawing and material requirements for review. Include quantity, critical dimensions and the inspection evidence required with delivery.
