T1 Copper: Purity Requirements and Certificates
T1 is a Chinese copper designation governed by a material standard. Material reference.
Purity Requirements and Certificates
For a high-conductivity enquiry, clarify whether the drawing needs a particular purity, oxygen limit or joining behaviour before comparing T1 with T2. Do not equate T1 automatically with an oxygen-free UNS grade based only on a shortened commercial description.
Manufacturing and acceptance checks
Request the complete standard, certificate and product form. Put conductivity and any oxygen-related acceptance on the order when required. Define contact finish, dimensions and cleaning separately; approve a substitute only after its certified chemistry and condition have been compared with the actual application.

Reference and scope
SAMR: GB/T 5231 wrought copper and alloy designations provides material or specification background. The checks above are purchasing guidance; final acceptance values must come from the agreed grade, product specification and condition.
Send a drawing and material requirements for review. Include quantity, critical dimensions and the inspection evidence required with delivery.
