Welded Fluid-Contact Components

For a welded fluid path, assess weld condition and cleanability alongside base-metal selection. Low carbon does not make any weld profile acceptable or eliminate chloride-related concerns. Identify crevices, dead spaces and inaccessible surfaces during drawing review.

Manufacturing and acceptance checks

Request the complete product specification and any dual-grade certificate. Define welding, internal finish and final cleaning acceptance, including the areas that cannot be inspected directly after assembly. Compare SUS304L only after the actual fluid and cleaning regime have been reviewed against the design requirements.
