Unfilled Enclosure Baselines

Use an identified unfilled ABS as the baseline for an enclosure comparison, then add only the modifications the application needs. A glass-filled option addresses a different design question from a flame-retardant option. For visible parts, colour and texture should be evaluated on the intended process.

Manufacturing and acceptance checks

State the exact supplier grade, colour and manufacturing route. Give screw-boss, clip and wall details and an acceptance method for appearance. Test assembly fit on a representative part and record the formulation; changing resin suppliers without review can invalidate the comparison sample.
