Glass Filled ABS: Reinforcement and Moulded Geometry
Glass-filled ABS combines an ABS resin with glass reinforcement; the content and formulation must be specified. Material reference.
Reinforcement and Moulded Geometry
For a housing requiring greater rigidity, evaluate reinforcement together with wall layout, fastening and cosmetic requirements. Do not transfer an unfilled ABS design unchanged or assume that one glass-filled grade represents every loading level and moulding direction.
Manufacturing and acceptance checks
Request the exact resin designation and reinforcement content. Identify critical dimensions, flow-related orientation and visible faces for the tooling review. Agree the conditioning and temperature for dimensional and load tests, and inspect the finished moulded or machined part rather than relying solely on a standard test specimen.

Ensinger: ABS material family provides material or specification background. The checks above are purchasing guidance; final acceptance values must come from the agreed grade, product specification and condition.
Send a drawing and material requirements for review. Include quantity, critical dimensions and the inspection evidence required with delivery.
