Glass Filled PPS: Filled Compound and Orientation
Glass-filled PPS is a reinforced polyphenylene-sulfide compound with a grade-specific filler content. Material reference.
Filled Compound and Orientation
For a rigid connector or bracket, review fibre orientation, wall layout and critical dimensions in the intended manufacturing process. Do not assign one glass-filled PPS property to every direction or transfer the unfilled stock's data to a reinforced formulation.
Manufacturing and acceptance checks
Request the exact compound and filler content. Identify load direction, electrical clearances and any moulded weld lines or machined features. Define testing at the intended temperature and after relevant chemical exposure, and approve a representative part with traceable material and process settings.
