Titanium Grade 1: Forming-Led Titanium Selection
Grade 1 belongs to the commercially pure titanium grades. Material reference.
Forming-Led Titanium Selection
For a formed sheet component, compare the supplied sheet condition with the bend or drawing operation before selecting a higher-strength grade. Do not use a bar datasheet to set forming expectations for thin sheet, and do not assume purity alone determines finished-part suitability.
Manufacturing and acceptance checks
Specify the sheet standard, thickness, delivery condition and bend direction. Agree a forming sample where the geometry is demanding. Define visible surfaces, cleaning and joining requirements and inspect the completed shape against the drawing after the final manufacturing step.

Reference and scope
TIMET: titanium grade and product data sheets provides material or specification background. The checks above are purchasing guidance; final acceptance values must come from the agreed grade, product specification and condition.
Send a drawing and material requirements for review. Include quantity, critical dimensions and the inspection evidence required with delivery.
