T800 Carbon Fiber: Product Variant and Stiffness Targets
Toray lists T800H and T800S as separate intermediate-modulus carbon-fibre products. Material reference.
Product Variant and Stiffness Targets
For a stiffness-led component, identify the exact product and laminate architecture before comparing it with T700. A fibre-family label does not establish the bending stiffness of a plate or the strength of its bolted connection. Thickness and ply orientation belong in the same review.
Manufacturing and acceptance checks
Specify the full fibre code, resin, tow or fabric and layup. Define the load and joint acceptance tests for the finished geometry. Require representative cured material data and retain process records; do not substitute fibre datasheet values for laminate or component allowables.

Reference and scope
Toray: fibre and prepreg data sheets, including product suffixes provides material or specification background. The checks above are purchasing guidance; final acceptance values must come from the agreed grade, product specification and condition.
Send a drawing and material requirements for review. Include quantity, critical dimensions and the inspection evidence required with delivery.
