T300 Carbon Fiber: Baseline Fibre and Laminate Evidence
Toray lists T300 as a standard-modulus carbon fibre. Material reference.
Baseline Fibre and Laminate Evidence
For an existing laminate using T300, preserve the complete material system when assessing a change. A switch to T700 does not automatically qualify the old ply schedule or joints. Compare the proposed fibre, resin, cure and laminate test evidence together.
Manufacturing and acceptance checks
Request exact fibre grade, tow and sizing, plus resin designation and layup. Define whether the comparison concerns stiffness, tensile capacity, impact or manufacturing cost. Use cured laminate or component evidence for the selected construction and keep the fibre datasheet separate from finished-part acceptance values.

Reference and scope
Toray: fibre and prepreg data sheets, including product suffixes provides material or specification background. The checks above are purchasing guidance; final acceptance values must come from the agreed grade, product specification and condition.
Send a drawing and material requirements for review. Include quantity, critical dimensions and the inspection evidence required with delivery.
