Rigid PVC: Machined and Fabricated Components
Rigid PVC refers to an unplasticized PVC product class, with grade-specific formulations. Material reference.
Machined and Fabricated Components
For a fabricated or machined component, compare the exact sheet or rod with the chemical exposure, joining route and service temperature. A family-level chemical-resistance label is not enough for a stressed joint or a mixed-fluid environment.
Manufacturing and acceptance checks
Request the grade, stock dimensions and applicable product specification. Define machining, bonding or welding details and identify stressed interfaces. Agree a first-article check of dimensions, joint integrity and exposure compatibility, using the final assembled condition rather than an unstressed raw-material coupon alone.
