Q195: Thin Formed Parts and Grade Identity
Q195 is a Chinese carbon-structural-steel designation. Material reference.
Thin Formed Parts and Grade Identity
For a lightly loaded formed bracket, begin with thickness, bend geometry and the required delivery condition. Do not infer suitability for drawing or welding from the number alone; identify the actual product standard and the fabricator's proposed stock.
Manufacturing and acceptance checks
Specify the complete grade, governing standard and surface finish. Agree bend trials for tight radii and state whether coating follows forming. Include hole position and flatness after forming in the acceptance drawing, and keep any substitution to Q215 or Q235 subject to the same manufacturing review.
