For a fluid-contact or insulating component, compare the exact grade against the cleaning chemicals, temperature and mechanical restraint. Do not replace PSU with another sulfone-family product without reviewing both the processing route and the application's documentation requirements.

Manufacturing and acceptance checks

Specify supplier grade, colour, thickness and intended process. Define exposure cycles, loaded condition and acceptable dimensional change. Request evidence relevant to the selected formulation and approve a finished-part sample after the required conditioning or cleaning sequence before accepting a substitution.
