Inconel 625: Corrosion Components and Stock Condition
INCONEL 625 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium alloy, UNS N06625. Material reference.
Corrosion Components and Stock Condition
For a corrosion-facing fitting, compare the process fluid, temperature and crevice conditions before selecting the grade. Different supplied conditions should not be combined into one property table. A material brand also does not demonstrate compliance with the particular pressure or application specification.
Manufacturing and acceptance checks
Request the complete bar, plate or tube standard and condition. Define joining, cleaning, dimensional and surface acceptance. Where another nickel alloy is proposed, require a comparison for the actual environment and maintain heat traceability through machining and any subsequent treatment.
