CR Rubber: Chloroprene Compound Selection
CR is chloroprene rubber, also commonly described as neoprene. The polymer name does not specify the finished compound. Material reference.
Chloroprene Compound Selection
Use this page for compound selection: identify the fluid, temperature, hardness and required mechanical response before comparing suppliers. A solid moulded CR seal and a foam sheet sold as neoprene should not share one performance specification.
Manufacturing and acceptance checks
Request the compound code, hardness method, cure and product form. Define compression, contact medium and exposure time. Qualify the finished geometry for sealing or mechanical function, and keep any reinforcement, adhesive or foam structure separate from the base-polymer description in the purchase order.

Parker: elastomer families and compound compatibility handbook provides material or specification background. The checks above are purchasing guidance; final acceptance values must come from the agreed grade, product specification and condition.
