For an impact-sensitive housing, identify the actual grade and test temperature rather than assuming all copolymers deliver the same response. Compare with homopolymer PP using the completed wall and fastening design, including the locations where impact or bending occurs.

Manufacturing and acceptance checks

Request the full supplier code, colour and process documentation. Define impact method, temperature and pass criteria on representative parts. Include stiffness, appearance and dimensional checks in the same evaluation so an apparent impact improvement does not conceal a fit or deformation problem.
